member all around the world.
Orewa Lodge held an open day which was well attended by members from Kerikeri, Rotorua,Auckland and a large group from Hamilton who stayed the weekend, taking advantage of a sociable get together with members at the Chinese Lantern festival in Auckland. Peter Cranswicks lecture on "Strategies for Living in the 21st Century" was interesting and he stayed until after 6pm answering queries from attendees. A DVD was shown all day on the hour of Tim Boyd's public lecture filmed recently at HPB Lodge in Auckland. In the evening Orewa president Neil Furby and Hamilton member Tim Wilmot-Sitwell cooked a bbq and then off to the Waiwera thermal pools for a good soak after a pleasant day of socialising. The next day a beach and bush walk ended with a lovely lunch made by Orewa's vice president Catherine. A big thanks to Neil, Catherine and Orewa TS for their hospitality!
